Tang Dao specimens are rare, and double handed Tang Dao are even rarer. Tang Zhan Ma Dao is based on a rare surviving double handed Tang Dao discovered in today’s Sichuan province. Tang Zhan Ma Dao comes with a bar shaped steel cross guard, a beautiful fuller run along a ridged profiled blade, this is a faithful recreation of this powerful Tang Dynasty weapon.
