Peach Guard Wo Dao

Peach Guard Wo Dao is based on an antique Ming Dynasty Wo Dao in LK Chen’s private sword collection.  Peach Guard Wo Dao was modeled after the Japanese Katana with a twist of Chinese design.    While the scabbard, hilt, and fittings are of traditional Japanese design, the blade has a significant distal taper typical of Chinese long sabers, making Peach Guard Wo Dao agile and well-balanced in handling. The hand-guard features a distinctive peach blossom design Cast iron Tsuba, Fuchi and Kashira Gloss black Saya Buffalo horn Koiguchi, Kojiri, Kurkata, and Mekugi Real Rayskin panel on Tsuka Cotton Sageo and Tuska-ito Brass Chrysanthemum Seppa Handcrafted red copper Habaki
