Snow Lion is an early Ming dynasty battle sword with influence and iconography of a Mongol Jian. The straight iron hand guard have a high relief of a Tibetan Snow Lion. Snow Lion, an auspicious creature of the Mongol imperial region, the Tibetan Buddhism, represent the strength and power in the snowy kingdom of Tibet. The blade have the typical Ming Dynasty duck tongue tip, which was design for slicing action by the tip. The blade have a bulging diamond cross section which increase stiffness of the blade for its the armor piercing ability while maintaining a functional sharp edge.
Blade rebounds to true after bending, Hand polish to smooth soft shine and sword sharp edge. Fittings Industrial grade precision cast stainless steel fittings. Scabbard and Hilt Jet Black painted scabbard and handle. Fit and finish
