Custom Copper fitting with Tai Lue double edge style blade

An experimental piece we did with a new craftsperson specialize in hand made traditional fitting.
A standard spring steel blade cladded in copper fitting with Lotus pommel cap. And a  teak wood scabbard in copper fittng.
The fitting are all handmade using traditional method.

As for the blade style is a Tai Lue(ไทลื้อ) with pronounce central ridge with lotus tip profile and a double edge. (Please note the back edge is not sharpen fully)
The blade type is really rare and usually found in small amount of antiques collection.
